WebURLTracker

Use case

Back in stock alerts for product pages

Track the availability badge or add-to-cart region instead of the whole page. Restocks show up; unrelated layout edits do not.

Watch the badge, not the whole PDP

Sold-out pages change constantly: recommendations, reviews, promo strips. The signal is the availability label or the add-to-cart control. Select that region so a restock is a clear add in the text diff.

This is the same job people try to do with Visualping full-page captures or Distill.io selectors. The difference is you pick the block in the live preview instead of guessing a CSS path, and the evidence is a screenshot plus the wording that flipped.

Setup

Paste the SKU URL. Click the stock badge or button. Ignore the rest. If the page needs your session, run the monitor as Local in Chrome so cookies never leave the browser.

Route the alert to the channel you already check. Throttle repeats if the merchant toggles the badge during a messy restock.

Typical pages

  • Ecommerce SKU pages
  • Limited drops
  • Marketplace listings
